1) So many days I want to live in one of these movies - here are some gifs to reinforce that
2) I think I’m going to organize a 3 day trip to the cabin in Arkansas in the next few weeks - need to check on the place anyhow. Why don’t we plan on taking one of the three days and having a back to back marathon of all Wes Anderson films in order. You don’t necessarily have to pay attention and there’s plenty of nature and patio space to sit and enjoy the quiet and the still. Otherwise you can indulge in which film is your favorite. Hotel Chevalier is included.
You know me, you know my thoughts on this kind of organized religion, but Hillsong, no matter what you think of them, nailed this teaser, their target audience, and everything about the production. Enjoy. Thanks to Tanner for sharing.
re: Andrew & Brady
Been mostly video posts around here of funny odds and ends around the internet, it’s what happens when you get busy. Wanted to post a rather sizable update about the optical.
I’ll keep the talking to a minimum and let the photos do the work. We’re just over 60 days into construction and almost done. We spent the first 3 weeks working on the concrete, having to trench the floors in two different places for sinks and front desk electrical. Beyond that, we had to re-pour that concrete, and add extra to account for a sizable slope in the floor.
From there we erected the walls, roughed out the electrical and plumbing, insulated, sheet-rocked, tape, bed & textured.
This week we paint, start electrical/plumbing top out, get the electricity on and the A/C flowing, tile the bathroom, get our antiqued mirrored wall installed, and start working our way towards our Certificate of Occupancy.
It won’t be but a few short weeks from here ‘til we’re ready to get the business ready for opening.
Hope all has been well - the next set of photos from the optical will be even more exciting to share.
I’ll be in touch soon with more info!
